Upcoming Symposium: (UN)COMFORTABLE IDENTITIES, Representations of Persecution. Friday and Saturday, October 20-21, 2017. By exploring research on the representation of historical persecution, this interdisciplinary symposium will examine the lasting impact of persecution on memory and identity for communities in different historical contexts, Co-organized by the dean’s office of CAHSS,as well as the Department of Critical Race, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and the Department of Native American Studies at HSU. Made possible by a generous grant from the Robert and Myra Kraft Family Foundation to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
