Humboldt County Food Bank Barrels have been placed in buildings all around campus. All donations collected will be given to Food for People, the Humboldt County Food Bank, which distributes to over 10,000 low-income children, families, people with disabilities, and seniors … our neighbors here in Humboldt County.
Recognizing our own campus needs, in addition to our annual partnership with Food-4-People, this year we are encouraging clubs to participate in a challenge to collect food for the campus food pantry.
Clubs will deliver their donations on Nov. 18 from 11-3 p.m. to the campus food pantry (at the Rec and Wellness Center). One winning club/student organization will be awarded a pizza party sponsored by our office.
To enter this contest, please notify our center by having a club representative email us at .
