This year’s event will include a Mozart trio performed by Virginia Ryder (clarinet), Karen Davy (viola) and Robin Miller (piano), and works by Robert Schumann played by Paul Cummings (clarinet) and Daniela Mineva (piano.)

Pianist Miller accompanies soprano Elisabeth Harrington in three selections from Parodies by Seymour Barab. Solo performers include Nicholas Lambson (guitar), Laura Snodgrass (flute), Gil Cline (cornet), Brian Post (carillon) and Dan Aldag (trombone.)

A reception follows the early evening concert where students and other concertgoers can meet Music faculty.

The Welcome Concert, part of the Faculty Artists Series, is performed on Saturday, September 14 at 5 p.m. in the Van Duzer Theatre at HSU. Tickets are $10/$5 students and seniors, from the HSU Ticket Office (826-3928) or at the door. For more information, visit hsumusic.blogspot.com.
