Visitors to Music B and nearby buildings as well as facilities on the University Center Quad will encounter noise and traffic levels typically associated with a construction project. Every effort is being made to minimize disruptions.
On-site fencing has been installed for contractor work areas and materials storage, limiting access somewhat to the Quad and to the area between the Music A and Music B Buildings (layout diagram attached).
To minimize the impact on passage to the Music Buildings, use of a construction crane will be split into two periods, Sept. 9 and 10 and September 17 and 18. For safety reasons, no access will be allowed in the area between the two buildings and their main entrances. The area is configured with temporary detours.
