HSU Lauds Outstanding Staff Members

Humboldt State University recently recognized the outstanding efforts of 10 staff members at its Fall Welcome. Staff award winners provide exemplary service to the university through problem solving, community service, outstanding performance, and the admirable completion of difficult assignments. Winners are active employees and may win the award more than once, but not in consecutive years.

This year’s winners are:
Sarah Bacio, Coordinator for the Retention through Academic Mentoring Program (RAMP).
Shannon Berge, Administrative Support Coordinator for the Academic & Career Advising Center and the Center for Community Based Learning.
Ravin Craig, Health Education Assistant for the Student Health Center.
Maricela Escalante-Mills, Coordinator for the Testing Center.
Katlin Overeem, STEM Learning Community Coordinator for the College of Natural Resources & Sciences.
Chris Rutter, Music Building Custodian for Facilities Management.
Amanda Staack, Administrative Support Coordinator for the Cultural Centers for Academic Excellence (CCAE).
Elizabeth Tellez, Housing Operations Coordinator for Housing & Residence Life.
Kumi Watanabe-Schock, Media Coordinator for the University Library.
