HSU Opera and Symphony Performances Wrap up the Semester

The Humboldt Symphony will play on Sunday, Dec. 12 at 2 p.m. in Fulkerson Recital Hall.

The symphony performs classic orchestral repertoire by an ensemble made up of instrumentalists from the campus and the community. Tickets are $10 General, $5 Child, free for HSU students with ID and can be purchased online at music.humboldt.edu/upcoming.

The HSU Opera Workshop will perform on Thursday, Dec, 9 at 8 p.m. in Fulkerson Recital Hall. Student singers will perform short staged scenes from opera and theater. The repertoire features 10 diverse classical and contemporary musical theater selections plus one opera-style duet sung by “cats.” The finale is from the new Broadway smash musical “Six,” a colorful re-telling of the story of the wives of Henry VIII. Tickets are $10 General, $5 Child, Free for HSU students with ID and can be purchased online at music.humboldt.edu/upcoming.

Because seating is limited, purchasing tickets in advance is strongly recommended.
