It’s Time to Apply to Humboldt State University

Applications are being accepted from first time freshmen, upper-division transfer students (60+ transferable units), returning students, veterans, international students, and graduate students.
Students are strongly encouraged to apply by the end of the California State University system’s priority application period, which ends Nov. 30, 2015. Returning and graduate students are encouraged to inquire about specific timelines and deadlines.

Those who intend to apply to the California State University system as first-time freshmen or upper-division transfers should go to csumentor.edu to complete the online application. CSU Mentor provides updated information on the specific deadlines for each campus and program.

HSU is also hosting Fall Admissions Day on Oct. 30, 2015. It’s a chance for prospective students to meet one-on-one with an HSU admissions counselors, who review Fall 2016 applications and inform students right then whether they are admitted to Humboldt State.

Last year, HSU received a record number of applications for the fall 2015 semester. Through Nov. 30, applications from first-time freshman jumped to 12,390 from 11,653 the previous year. Similarly, the number of transfer student applications grew 7.2 percent.
