Power has been restored to campus as of 10:45 a.m. No injuries or damage was reported.
The power outage, which affected most of campus and much of Arcata, began around 9 a.m. The outage occurred because of an equipment failure at a PG&E substation.
The campus remained open throughout the outage and most classes continued to be held.
