Special Programs to Help with Finals Week

Faculty and staff can help ease the stress of finals week by directing Humboldt State students to a variety of activities planned to brighten their last days on campus before the holiday break.

Students can fuel up for a successful week at Housing & Dining’s 22nd annual free pancake dinner, scheduled for Monday, Dec. 15. Students can enjoy the meal from 8 to 10 p.m. in the J Cafeteria.

Associated Students will host its semi-annual Finals Week Study Lounge from 5:30 p.m.–midnight, Sunday Dec. 14–Wednesday, Dec. 17. Food will be provided each evening.

On Monday, Dec. 15, service dogs specifically trained to provide stress relief will be available in the Library Lobby from 6:30–8 p.m. They’ll return Tuesday, Dec. 16, for another therapy session, scheduled from 6–7:30 p.m. in the AS Lounge. The dogs are provided by University Center Director Dave Nakamura.

The Learning Center will provide drop-in tutoring throughout the week. Hours and locations are as follows:
