California State University (CSU) Chancellor Timothy P. White will share system-wide policy priorities for 2014-15 and his vision for the CSU with stakeholders including elected officials, students, faculty, staff and business and community leaders from across California in his first “State of the CSU” address to be delivered during the January Board of Trustees meeting from 11 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29.
As California begins to reinvest in public higher education, the 23-campus CSU system is uniquely positioned as a driver of economic growth and poised to help the state meet the burgeoning need for skilled workers holding bachelor’s degrees. Chancellor White’s address will highlight initiatives supporting student achievement and degree completion.
