Humboldt State University's Green Campus Program recently entered a video in the National Wildlife Federation's "Campus Chill Out" competition. Students, staff, faculty and members of the HSU community can vote for the video online, increasing the chance the video is selected as the competition's winner.
The video, titled "Phantom Hunter," is posted on the GreenTube Web site and parodies Steve irwin, the famous Crocodile Hunter. HSU students Carmen King and Jeffrey Steuben appear in the video in full Steve Irwin-inspired garb and help transform a student's dorm room making it more energy efficient. Winners of the competition will receive a grant from NWF to ensure the continued success of the program or club.
