Toyon Literary Magazine will host a release party for its 68th volume on Zoom, March 29, from 3-5 p.m.

During the event, there will be featured readings from Volume 68 contributors and a recognition of 2022 award recipients. The event is free and open to the public. Register for the event here.

The Virtual Release will also be followed by an in-person afterparty from 6-8 p.m., details and location TBA.

The theme for this year's Toyon is Hope and Healing, a response to the past two tumultuous years we have had to endure as a global community. Vol. 68 is a compilation of poems, essays, short stories, and spoken word pieces reflecting on the relationships we have with ourselves and of the natural world. This year's edition of Toyon also includes Spanish, Italian, and Swahilian translations.

Make sure to sign up to our mailing list when you register for the event! Those on Toyon’s mailing list will receive a free physical copy of the new volume. Volume 68 will also be made available at your local bookstore and digitally in both ebook and audiobook formats. The ebook will be made available on Cal Poly Humboldt Digital Commons, Amazon Kindle, and Amazon print-on-demand. The volume 68 audiobook will be released on YouTube and Soundcloud and can be accessed via the Toyon website at the time of release.
