Due to the pandemic, the 35th Annual Humboldt State University Department of Athletics Sports Auction was virtual and was held October 21-24. The virtual auction raised $30,995.00 as of November 6.

Some of the top items at this year’s auction were the following: Yeti Tundra Haul Cooler, Two-Night Stay and Dinner for Two at Albion Inn and a Tom Brady Signed Autograph Football.

HSU is surrounded by so many individuals who support its mission,” said Jane Teixeira, Director of Athletics and Recreational Sports. “Athletics is an integral part of student success and we are very grateful for all who took part in this unique sports auction. The funds raised will continue to provide scholarships opportunities to current and future Lumberjacks.”

“Even though we weren’t able to have the traditional evening that so many have come to enjoy, the pivot to a virtual format provided opportunities to support Lumberjack Athletics. We look forward to returning to the fun, in-person event in 2021.”
