Humboldt State University will start construction Monday, Aug. 9, on a safer, more efficient driveway entrance to the Harry Griffith Hall parking lot from B Street. Construction will continue through Aug. 31.
Access to the Griffith lot will remain as is, from Rossow Street. B Street traffic may be controlled at times, depending on contractor operations, but most of the work there is scheduled to be completed by Aug. 23. Incoming and outgoing traffic on Harpst Street will not be affected.
Pedestrian detours will be set up at Harry Griffith Hall and surrounding sidewalks. Other planned improvements will add parking spaces to the Griffith lot.
