Developed with input from across campus, the user-friendly calendar will feature campus-sponsored events of interest to HSU students, faculty, staff and the community.
Users will be able to search the calendar for upcoming events and view them by day, month, year and category, such as Arts (Performing and Visual) and Lectures & Workshops. The calendar can also be imported into Google Cal, iCal, Outlook or an RSS reader.
Those with an HSU User ID are encouraged to submit events by clicking on the “Submit an Event” button at humboldt.edu/events.
Events suitable for submission are public activities sponsored or co-sponsored by the university. Examples would include sporting events, music or dance performances, lectures and open houses. Invitation-only events such as closed-door administrative meetings, classes and guest appearances by faculty, students or staff off-campus will not be included.
Calendar submissions should include the date, time, location and cost of the event, as well as an email address. Calendar administrators will review all submissions before they are posted.
