HSU Library Honors Campus Authors

HSU authors and their works will be celebrated at the 2nd Annual HSU Authors Celebration and Reception on Friday, February 12, 2016, from 3-5 p.m. on the 2nd floor of the library, outside the Library Fishbowl. The event is free and open to the public.

Hosted by the University Library and the Office of the Provost, the event honors HSU authors as they share their scholarly and creative works with the University and wider community.

Each spring, the Library celebrates works published during the previous year and adds to the bibliography of HSU authors who published their work in the previous year.

Provost Alexander Enyedi and Library Dean Cyril Oberlander will open the reception, followed by a brief history of HSU Press’s 2015 publication of The Extraordinary Voyage of Kamome, by Professor Lori Dengler.

The HSU Authors Hall is a growing permanent physical collection of books, CDs, and DVDs of scholarship and creative work from HSU faculty, emeriti faculty, staff, student, and alumni authors.

The HSU Library is also launching SelectedWorks, a service that allows faculty and staff authors to showcase their articles, books, papers, and presentations. In addition, view the bibliography online at http://www.citeulike.org/user/HSULibrary.
