IGNITE! The Art of Sustainability is a traveling exhibition that features the work of thirteen of California’s leading environmental artists. Using photographs, paint and video as well as effects such as smog and particulate matter on porcelain, the artists communicate “a heightened connection to their natural surroundings,” according to the website exhibitenvoy.org. Their work displays the rich variety and extremes found in California’s numerous ecological regions.

The exhibit is result of a series of statewide ecological workshops sponsored by the Green Museums Initiative of the California Association of Museums.

The Reese Bullen Gallery is open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday 12-5 p.m.; Thursday, 12-7 p.m.; Friday 12-5 p.m.; and Saturday 10-2 p.m. Metered and day permit parking is available.
