Bigger, better and FREE—the new Humboldt State Association
As the new school year gets underway at Humboldt State, we’re proudly introducing Forever Humboldt—the new Humboldt State Association. As campus community member, you’re a part of it!
Forever Humboldt is a new incarnation of the Alumni Association, but grown up and even better. And, as you might expect from Humboldt, it’s entirely different from what you would find at other universities.
NO DUES. Everyone is a member and there are still all the benefits. In fact, we’ve added benefits.
ALL INCLUSIVE. It isn’t just for alumni anymore. It’s for the whole Humboldt family—alumni, students, families, faculty, and staff.
How can we do that? A bigger question would be how we couldn’t. The traditional idea of a members-only club just no longer fits at Humboldt, and we know that students, staff, and faculty are hardly alone as passionate supporters of the university.
So we decided to go all in, expand the association, and figure out the details as we go along. Forever Humboldt programs will be all about …
- Keeping our CONNECTIONS with each other.
- Showcasing our PRIDE in Humboldt State.
- Encouraging SUPPORT of HSU through volunteering, promoting, and giving.
We all know that our big, extended Humboldt State community cares deeply about this university and its values. As HSU’s second century begins this fall, we’re proud to launch an organization built on that fact. Forever Humboldt is for everyone who is part of Humboldt State. And it’s about offering everyone who cares about HSU’s future a way to give back by giving their time, telling others about Humboldt’s successes, or by making a donation.
On campus, we’ve already reorganized and refocused our efforts to support this new Association. The Alumni Relations Office is now Alumni & Engagement. New programs are in the works, there are new and enhanced benefits, free career resources, educational opportunities, and so much more. And of course, you will continue to receive our award-winning Humboldt magazine.
