The MERLOT award program recognizes both outstanding teaching and learning materials and the authors of these resources.
As a founding member of the Web Interface for Statistics Education (WISE) project, Dr. Aberson worked to develop several Internet-based tutorials for the teaching and learning of core statistical topics. The award particularly recognizes the project's widely-used Central Limit Theorem tutorial, which is only the second statistics teaching resource honored by MERLOT.
Members of the WISE team will showcase the award-winning contribution at the MERLOT International Conference in August.
