Associate Vice President Mike Reilly has accepted a position as Associate Director with the Council of Presidents in Washington state. His last day at Humboldt State will be Sept. 12.
"The decision to leave Humboldt State is a very difficult one for me,” Reilly said. “The staff in Student Affairs and in Enrollment Management have become very close colleagues of mine and together we have achieved a number of successes in the last two years."
Vice President of Student Affairs Steven Butler said Reilly will be missed. "I hate to see him go, but he has to make his decision on what is best for him personally and professionally."
Butler noted that Reilly has more than 18 years of previous employment with the state university system in Washington.
“I am already consulting with various on-campus groups and staff seeking advice and options on how to fill the vacancy," Butler said.
