Wiegmann and Truman both draw inspiration from their surroundings; Wiegmann from the division created by “rich tones and colors of an endless horizon line” viewed from his home in Montana, and Truman, influenced by her travels to Indonesia.

The show, titled, “Sequent” features single panel, triptych, and multi-grid paintings. Among these works, is a 160-disc installation, Ripple of which Truman expresses her interest in “perception and the quick formation of visual information in the brain before the viewer is entirely conscious of it.”

Please join artists Suzanne Truman and Ralph Wiegmann at the opening reception in the Reese Bullen Gallery, on Thursday October 20, from 4:30- 6:30 p.m. The exhibit will run until November 17.
