The HSU Bigfoot 5K fun run/walk takes place Saturday, March 6 at 10 a.m. in the HSU Redwood Bowl. Registration is open to the public. HSU staff, faculty, and students can pre-register for $10 and members of the general public can secure a spot for $20.
The race is a fundraiser for the Humboldt State Kinesiology Club. “Our main goals are to provide an experience that facilitates a bridge between the HSU community and the local community, and a fun time for everyone who participates,” says Ashley Alunan, a Kinesiology senior from Hayward, Calif.
Each participant will receive a t-shirt, and the first 3 finishers will receive a prize. Register at the Jogg'n Shop at 1090 G St., Arcata and on the 3rd floor of the Kinesiology & Athletics Building.
Preregistration ends Feb 26th. Cash and checks to HSU Kinesiology Club.
