“We’re hoping to make this a huge event packed with students and community members alike,” says Minh Dao, president of HSU’s Asian Pacific American Student Alliance. APASA and the university’s MultiCultural Center are cosponsors of the performance.
Chang’s half-hour special “Comedy Central Presents” was voted number two in the program’s “Stand Up Showdown 2011.”
His other television appearances include E!’s “Chelsea Lately,” Showtime’s “Minority Report” and Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend.”
Chang tours the U.S. every year for eight months and he has performed at more than 400 colleges.

Born and reared in New York, Chang has performed at a host of New York and Los Angeles nightclubs during his rise to fame. He moved to the City of Angels in 2007 and his venues there have included Hollywood Improv, Laugh Factory, Comedy Store and Ice House.
