Dr. Mary Glenn has been appointed as the Interim Associate Dean for the College of Professional Studies. Dr.
Dr. Mary Glenn has been appointed as the Interim Associate Dean for the College of Professional Studies. Dr. Glenn comes to the College of Professional Studies from the Department of Anthropology, where she has served as Professor, Department Chair, and Co-Director of the Humboldt Center for Evolutionary Anthropology. She is also a Senior Research Scientist at the Windward Islands Research and Education Foundation, based in Grenada, West Indies.
Her research, which spans several areas within anthropology, has taken her to more than 40 countries and has been featured in Nature and National Geographic. Over her career, Dr. Glenn has developed and led international field programs for students in more than 15 countries. At HSU, she has served on the Board of Directors for the University Advancement Foundation, as Chair of the International Resource Committee, as a member of the Cabinet for Institutional Change and on many other committees related to undergraduate research initiatives, student success and international program development.
