Rajkovich’s contemporary sculpture reflects his interest in the commonplace and its relationship to the imagination, blending familiar subjects with abstract geometric forms. These organic, morphing compositions hint at surrealism and allude to pop art, with the use of bold colors and clean presentation.
He incorporates many non-traditional materials to achieve his distinctive style – industrial materials such as plywood, plaster, latex, and resin – to create organic and unnatural forms in flat, yet vivid colors, such as bubble-gum-pink, mint green, and aqua blue.
Currently Rajkovich is an art instructor at University of California, Riverside.
