Cheek’s Thoughts: “We had a nice road trip where we beat ranked teams, such as Seattle University and Hawaii Pacific, along with Cal State Stanislaus, who wasn’t ranked but are considered to be a top 10 team. We’ve re-made a name for ourselves with this title. We hit hard this weekend.”… “We look forward to being home. We’re supposed to have good weather and we should draw a nice crowd. This month our schedule is in our favor.” …CSU San Bernardino has some good hitters on their team. They hit the ball long and are always looking for the home run, as they are leading the conference in home runs.” …“We put a nail in our coffin with our losses earlier in the season. I think after last weekend, we removed a few of them. This tournament was pretty much set-up for ranking. It does the job of separating the teams.”… “I was pleased with our girls who earned All-Tournament honors this past weekend.”
