“We’re excited to return to a completely live homecoming that celebrates our new status as a Cal Poly campus,” said Michael G. Moore, associate director of the Gutswurrak Student Activities Center, which, along with Forever Humboldt, coordinates the festivities. “This is our first homecoming as Cal Poly Humboldt, and we plan to make it one to remember. Our hope is to help create a sense of community that we have missed with remote activities.”
Activities throughout the week will include conference games for the men’s and women’s soccer teams and the women’s volleyball team, a pep rally, and multiple social and socially minded events, many featuring music with a live DJ.
