HSU's team participants were: A-Team: Caleb Vierra, Marrisa Perez, Shanyn Sandhaus, Drew Foster, Clayton Seado, Ryan Bellanca, Ryan Stuart, Dan Graybill; B-Team: Elliott Brooks, Dan Falk, Justin Kostick, Chet Madden, Tyler Geist, Jessica Schneider, Tori Gervasi, Juli Musso; C-Team: Colin Chambers.
Earlier this year, the HSU Logging Sports Team, advised by faculty member, Peter Matzka, attended the Redwood Regional Logging Conference held at the Ukiah fairgrounds. The members designed a logging sports field using wood donated by Gary Roch. The team also gave three days of demonstrations for elementary school children from the Ukiah area, emphasizing both safety and skill.
