Highlights from the week of October 25.

Basketball Celebration November 1
With the Humboldt State men’s and women’s basketball season right around the corner, the Lumberjacks will be celebrating the start of hoops season on Monday, November 1. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the festivities begin at 6:30 p.m. Come and meet the 2021-22 Lumberjack men’s and women’s basketball teams and have a chance to win some prizes!

Men’s Soccer Continues Winning Ways
Humboldt State men’s soccer team extended its winning streak to four with a pair of victories on senior weekend. HSU started the week with a 2-1 overtime win over Sonoma State. Daniel Adeyeye scored the game-winning goal on an assist from Yushi Kato. HSU finished its home part of the regular season schedule with a 1-0 win over SF State on Senior Day. Dylan Tovani scored the game-winner with less than a minute left in regulation. Humboldt State will be at Cal Poly Pomona and Cal State Los Angeles this weekend for a pair of CCAA match-ups. Williamson and McLaughlin Earn All-Conference Honors
The Humboldt State cross country duo of Saedy Williamson and Rosa Granaods earned All-Conference honors on October 23 at the CCAA Championships. Williamson finished in eighth place and Granados finished in 10th place. As a team, the Lumberjack women finished in sixth place while the ‘Jack men finished in ninth place. Women’s Soccer Finishes Season on the Road
Humboldt State women’s soccer went 0-2 in the Lumberjacks’ final two home matches of the regular season. HSU lost 4-0 to No. 23 Sonoma State and 2-1 to SF State with Kendal Spencer scoring the goal for the Lumberjacks. HSU will finish off its regular season with three straight road matches beginning this weekend at Cal Poly Pomona (Oct. 29) and Cal State Los Angeles (Oct. 31). ‘Jacks Back on the Road for Four Matches
HSU’s volleyball team went 0-2 last weekend at home with three sets lost to No. 22 Cal Poly Pomona and No. 9 Cal State San Bernardino. The ‘Jacks will embark on a four-match road trip beginning this weekend at Cal State Monterey Bay (Oct. 29) and SF State (Oct. 30). Basketball Season Tickets Season Tickets Available

The Lumberjack women’s basketball team will host Southern Oregon on Friday, Oct. 29 at 5:30 p.m. in an exhibition game at Lumberjack Arena. The first time for Jacks fans to see Humboldt State men’s basketball team at Lumberjack Arena will be on Saturday, Nov. 20 at 7 p.m. when it hosts Lincoln University.

The Harlem Globetrotters come back to Lumberjack Arena on Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022!
