Highlights from the week of November 8, 2021

SIX LUMBERJACKS NAMED ALL-CCAA
Six members of the men’s soccer team were named to the All-CCCAA Team. Marco Silveira was named to the First Team while Dylan Tovani and Adrian Gallardo each were named to the Second Team. Three ‘Jacks were named to the Honorable Mention Team: Christian Gonzalez, Devin Hauenstein, and Motoki Sato. The six selections are the most for a ‘Jacks team since joining the conference. BAREILLES NAMED TO ALL-CCAA TEAM

HSU MEN’S AND WOMEN’S BASKETBALL TEAM START SEASONS ON THE ROAD
Both of the Lumberjack men’s and women’s basketball teams began their respective seasons on the road. The women were in Seattle taking on Western Washington and Seattle Pacific. HSU’s men were in Carson for games with Western Washington and Simon Fraser. GRANADOS AND PORTILLO LEAD HSU AT REGIONALS
Rosa Granados and Elliott Portillo paced the ‘Jacks at the NCAA Division II West Regionals. Granados led HSU to a 16th place finish with her 30th place finish. Portillo finished in 48th place while the men finished in 17th place. VOLLEYBALL FINISHED SEASON AT HOME
HSU’s volleyball finished their seasons at home hosting Cal State Dominguez Hills and Cal State Los Angeles. Prior to Saturday’s match, HSU recognized its seniors in Carla Crespo, Hannah Cantrell, Jasmine McNeal, Lenox Loving, and Christa Pilgrim. ROWING BEGAN 2021-22 SEASON AT HEAD OF THE LAGOON
