Most of the student prints in this exhibition were printed from reliefs that the artists carved into sheets of plywood. The carving process lends itself to the natural qualities of the content as the artist responds to the grain and rhythm of the woodblock. Other processes used in the exhibition include lithography, intaglio, silk-screen, and monotypes.
