Cal Poly Humboldt will welcome hundreds of prospective students and their families this month for Spring Preview.
Hundreds of prospective students, family members, and guests are expected to visit campus for Cal Poly Humboldt’s open house, Spring Preview and Preview Plus, a two-day and more immersive experience.

It’s the first in-person Spring Preview and Preview Plus since 2019, and the first since Humboldt was designated a polytechnic university. Humboldt is also offering a Spring Preview virtual series. (See the schedule below).

"The University is excited to open its door again and showcase our amazing facilities, services, and the people that make Cal Poly Humboldt a special place to live and learn,” says Director of Admissions Pedro Martinez.

The annual event gives applicants, newly admitted students (freshman and transfer), and their families a sneak peek at life inside and outside the classroom at Humboldt. It’s also a chance to experience Humboldt through the eyes of current students.

Events include tours of campus and residence halls, plus opportunities to talk with faculty from every department at the Academics Fair and to learn about clubs and extracurricular activities. A range of academic departments across all three colleges plan to provide tours of campus facilities, as well.

Workshops will cover everything from affording college to support resources that are available to help meet their basic needs. Spanish translation services will be available for some sessions. All workshops held in the Lumberjack Arena will be in Spanish.

The last day to sign up for Spring Preview is Monday, April 4. To see the full schedule, go to humboldt.edu/springpreview. Visit this website to register. Contact welcome@humboldt.edu or (707) 826-6225 for more details.
