Arcata – Effective Monday, Dec. 15, and continuing until mid-Jan., Humboldt State University will redirect traffic to perform utility work in connection with the new student housing project, College Creek Apartments.
Closures Include:
• College Walk will be closed to pedestrian and bicycle traffic.
• Harpst Street will be closed between Rossow and L.K. Wood Boulevard through Sunday, Jan. 18. Update: Brown Construction will has re-opened Harpst Street for the beginning of Spring Semester classes Tuesday morning, Jan. 20. Ongoing utility connection and building foundation work will result in Harpst Street being narrowed to one-way traffic until sometime in the summer. Traffic will flow one-way from L.K. Wood Boulevard into Campus.
• Harpst Street between B and Rossow will remain two-way.
• Three affected parking lots—Main, Student Business Services and Gist Hall—will have to be entered via B Street.
