Sterner, along with colleagues from The Ohio State University and Lesley University, successfully organized, presented at, and facilitated the 30th annual Children's Literature Assembly (CLA) Annual Expert Class: Nodes of Literary Connection: How Culturally Diverse Imprints are Building Pathways for More Inclusive and Representative Children’s Literature. The session took place at the National Council of Teachers of English annual conference in Columbus, OH, on November 18.
