Friday, Feb. 25 is the deadline for Associated Students to accept nominations and applications for its 2011-2012 Campus/Community Scholarships.
AS expects to award approximately 30 scholarships for the upcoming academic year and each one is $1,000. Designed to reward and foster continuing campus and community service, the scholarships carry no requirements as to service type.
Scholarships are available to any HSU student who is eligible for financial aid, is currently enrolled full-time (12 or more units), has a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 and is returning to Humboldt State next year.
Completed applications should be submitted to the AS Office at University Center; details about the scholarship and applications are available at www.humboldt.edu/associatedstudents.
