The University also earned recognition as the #23 Regional University (West) overall, competing among both public and private institutions.

The University's #16 ranking for Best Colleges for Veterans underscores Cal Poly Humboldt's strong support systems for military veterans pursuing higher education. The #33 Social Mobility ranking acknowledges Humboldt's effectiveness in enrolling and graduating students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, particularly those who receive federal Pell Grants—a population that continues to grow at Humboldt.
Cal Poly Humboldt's specialized programs also earned national recognition, with the undergraduate Engineering program ranking #82 among non-doctorate-granting institutions. Its hands-on learning approach continues to prepare students for successful careers in STEM fields and beyond.
