Many California State University campuses will begin accepting applications for admission to the spring 2015 term on August 1, 2014. The majority of students who apply for admission during the spring term are transfers from the California Community Colleges including those who have earned an Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT).
“The enrollment across the California State University will continue to grow this year, and we expect to welcome master’s degree candidates, students seeking additional credentials and Associate Degree for Transfer students,” said Ephraim P. Smith, CSU executive vice chancellor and chief academic officer. “This program is a prime example of the state’s higher education systems collaborating to address California’s workforce needs despite limited resources.”
For the most current information on which campuses are accepting students, and at what level, visit the CSUMentor status page. Current and future applicants also are encouraged to visit CSUMentor to apply or find out more about CSU program offerings, financial aid and academic planning. In addition to the resources available at CSU Mentor, students interested in finding out which undergraduate, master’s and doctoral programs are offered by CSU campuses can visit the CSU’s degree search database at degrees.calstate.edu to learn about the more than 3,000 degrees offered throughout the system.
Prospective students are encouraged to complete and submit applications early as the application period for most campuses will close on August 31. Students should also consider applying to multiple campuses which can be done through the CSU Mentor Express application mode.
