Join Humboldt alumni, friends, families, faculty, and staff at the Arcata Theatre Lounge for an evening of live music featuring The Distractions, an all-staff cover band delivering crowd-favorite hits from the 80s and beyond. The opening acts for The Distraction will feature local rapper B1G $UAV, a Humboldt alum and current staff member, whose lyrics focus on environmentalism and a love for the earth. Additionally, Spitbug, a Cal Poly Humboldt all-student band, will be performing. They are known for their fluttering folk-pop sound.
Forever Humboldt’s first get-together of 2025 will bring people together to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate the vibrant community and incredible progress Humboldt has made since becoming a polytechnic.
