Humboldt State’s newly formed Cabinet for Institutional Change is inviting the campus community to a forum from noon to 1 p.m., Monday, March 9 in the Kate Buchanan Room at University Center.
Attendees will have a chance to meet the members of the Cabinet, hear about its work, and learn how they can share ideas and get involved.
The Cabinet – formed in response to issues raised during the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) reaccreditation process and at the recommendation of Keeling & Associates – is guiding a complicated change process involving all aspects of the University. It is focused on five areas: realizing the University vision; improving campus governance; achieving student success; creating a culture of evidence; and cultivating a collegial, respectful and responsive community.
Members of the Cabinet say they will need broad participation from the campus community to be successful.
