Every year, thousands of donors give to support Cal Poly Humboldt students and programs.
The most recent year has been especially inspiring: alumni and friends gave $14.3 million in gifts and commitments, the highest level of annual private support in the University’s history.
To recognize the generosity of its donors who have made an impact in the lives of Humboldt students, the Cal Poly Humboldt Foundation is hosting Donor Appreciation Week, which kicks off Monday, Oct. 24.
During Donor Appreciation Week, students, staff, and faculty are invited to a special celebration on Thursday, Oct. 27 at the University Quad. Refreshments will be served starting at 11:30 a.m. with music from noon-1 p.m.
Those attending the Oct. 27 event can enter a drawing to win prizes, like gift cards from The Campus Stores or even an AppleTV, iPad, or MacBook. Meet some of our donors and alumni volunteers. The campus community is also invited to show their gratitude to donors. Write messages of appreciation on plant tags (free plant included to take home) and a giant thank you card, plus share smiles of gratitude at the photo booth.
Donor Appreciation Week will include a variety of activities, including special campus visits and recognition of many individual donors. There will also be announcements throughout the week related to donor support of Cal Poly Humboldt.

Also watch for the next big thing! It happens during Donor Appreciation Week.
