With a creative flare, Humboldt State’s Homecoming & Family Weekend marches into the spotlight Friday with a parade through campus and the community.

Costumed walkers and decorated floats will reflect the theme, “Living the Pledge,” a tribute to HSU’s Graduation Pledge of Social and Environmental Responsibility. Participants will compete for prestige and prizes, the winners determined by an esteemed panel of judges.
The parade is one of many enjoyable activities planned for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Highlighting Saturday’s events are the tailgate and football game that matches the Lumberjacks against South Dakota School of Mines and Technology at 6 p.m. in Redwood Bowl.
