HSU Education Degree Named Top Program in U.S.

Humboldt State’s master’s degree in education has been named one of the top programs of its kind in the nation by "mastersdegreeonline.org":http://www.mastersdegreeonline.org/, a website for master’s programs.

HSU joins Stanford University and the University of California, Los Angeles in earning the distinction.

HSU’s M.A. in Education is a generalist degree that offers evening classes for working teachers. Students can focus on a variety of academic disciplines and specialize in one of four areas: administrative services, curriculum and instruction, special education or special studies.

The School of Education also offers an undergraduate degree and postgraduate credential programs in educational leadership, elementary education, secondary education and special education. Information sessions are held throughout the year both on-campus and online.
