The Expo offers employers hiring opportunities with workforce-ready HSU students. Employers collect student resumes, conduct interviews and develop an applicant pool for future vacancies. Students benefit from work experience while in school and with entry-level qualifications after graduation.
This year’s Career Expo is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 13 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the university’s West Gym above the Recreation and Wellness Center.
Registration costs are $155 for businesses, $105 for government agencies and $55 for nonprofit organizations. The fee covers the booth, breakfast, lunch and campus advertising for participating employers.
Details about the Feb. 3 registration deadline and the Feb. 13 event are available from the Career Center at (707) 826-3341 and at humboldt.edu/career.
