Hundreds of Humboldt State students are expected to participate in the Y.E.S. House Serve-A-Thon from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 31 at Miranda’s Big and Small Animal Rescue in Fortuna.
The annual fundraiser supports volunteering screening costs for the Y.E.S. House, which supports student-run volunteer programs.

Volunteer activities will include:
- Building fences
- Installing water lines
- Enlarging ponds
- Combing cats
- Walking dogs
- Cleaning stalls
Volunteers will meet at Library Circle on the HSU campus at 10:30 a.m. and carpool to Miranda’s Rescue in Fortuna. To sponsor a volunteer, or for more information, contact Liz Samaniego at (707) 826-5577.
