Dr. Christian Itin, the program’s director, and other social work faculty will answer questions on Wednesday, October 21, at 5:30 p.m. in Room 204 of the Behavioral and Social Sciences Building. Two further sessions are scheduled Wednesday, November 18, and Wednesday, December 9, at the same time in the same location.
The Master’s in Social Work program is geared to immediate needs in northern coastal California and the growing demand nationwide for advanced generalist professionals in public, private and tribal social service agencies.
The Department of Social Work is currently recruiting candidates for full-time, advanced standing and part-time programs. It works closely with North Coast social and environmental justice agencies, local governments, schools and private foundations. The curriculum combines academic training with practical field experience that reinforces what is learned in class.
