Humboldt State University’s Department of Social Work will present four information sessions this fall about its master’s in social work program.
The presentations are scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 20; Tuesday, Oct. 18; Tuesday, Nov. 15; and Tuesday, Dec. 6. All will be held in the Behavioral and Social Sciences Building, Room 508, 5:30-7 p.m.
Dr. Marissa O’Neill and other social work faculty will host the forums and answer questions about the master’s program. The department is now recruiting for its full-time, advanced standing and part-time programs.
The master’s degree equips individuals for careers in research, business, government and non-profit organizations. Students are trained as hands-on practitioners, developing their skills in the field.
