The annual event celebrates the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. It provides educators, speakers, and leaders from around the country an opportunity to explore the benefits of international education with a variety of community-wide programs and presentations.
Angela Joya, an assistant professor of Global Political Economy in International Studies at the University of Oregon, presents the keynote lecture Monday, Nov. 17, from 6-8 p.m. in the Kate Buchanan Room on campus. Joya’s talk, Whither the Egyptian Revolution? Elites, Workers, Peasants and the Struggle Over the State, will explore the economic, social and political crises facing Egypt.
