Please join the Cal Poly Humboldt community in raising funds during Humboldt’s inaugural Giving Day on Wednesday, April 5. You can give through the Cal Poly Humboldt Giving Day website.
Cal Poly Humboldt Giving Day is a 24-hour campaign bringing together students, alumni, parents, friends, and the campus community to raise funds for students and campus programs. On Giving Day, gifts up to $1,000 will have twice the impact as the Cal Poly Humboldt Foundation will match the first $150,000 raised.
“Giving Day is a way of paying it forward,” says Dan Sealy ('75, Natural Resources). Dan is a Cal Poly Humboldt donor, volunteer alumni representative, and Boldy Rising Campaign Cabinet member. “People helped me in many ways — volunteering or donating — when I was a student at Humboldt, which gave me amazing opportunities. Now I can do the same for current students and help them succeed.”
Anyone can make a gift to a specific campus department, academic and non-academic program, scholarship, or existing fund, by visiting the fund directory. On Giving Day, everyone is encouraged to donate in any way possible and help spread awareness about supporting Humboldt.
Cal Poly Humboldt held its first-ever classes on April 5, 1913, successfully opening with the help of significant financial support from the community. Now, 110 years later, Humboldt continues to offer amazing educational opportunities to students with the help of donors at all levels.
Join the Cal Poly Humboldt community in boldly giving to students and programs during the first Cal Poly Humboldt Giving Day, April 5. Visit giving.humboldt.edu/giving-day for more information and to make a gift on Giving Day.
