The LK Wood waterline project is still on track for completion on August 15, according to project management at Oscar Larson & Associates.
A main waterline for the city of Eureka is being replaced and routed down LK Wood Boulevard, in front of the HSU campus. The project began May 15 and is scheduled to wrap-up August 15.
Traffic has been rerouted to the north half of LK Wood from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday. Any work that exceeds the finish date will not be permitted during the daytime, when, as of August 21, the majority of classes are in session, and must instead be completed between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.
