The celebration will feature live music, campus traditions, local creativity, and opportunities to reconnect with the Lumberjack community.
Durand Jones & The Indications will headline the Block Party on Saturday, Oct. 10. The acclaimed group is known for a sound that draws on classic soul while exploring themes of growth, connection, and homecoming. The evening’s lineup also includes Thee Sinseers, The Altons, and local favorite HISPanic! at the Disco.
All attendees must register and pick up a wristband to attend Lumberjack Weekend events. Some events require an invitation or an additional ticket purchase, as noted below. Alumni, families, and guests who register will also receive a limited-edition clear crossbody bag.
Check-in will be available from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday on the University Quad. Saturday check-in will take place from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. at the Block Party entrance near Harpst and Rossow streets.

Athletics Hall of Fame Dinner
5 - 9 p.m.—Kate Buchanan Room (University Center 225)
Cal Poly Humboldt Athletics will induct its 2026 class into the Hall of Fame during this annual celebration of the University’s athletic legacy. Visit humboldtathletics.com for details about this year’s class.

Lumberjack Drag Show

Celebrate creativity and self-expression at the annual Lumberjack Drag Show. The evening will feature a lively lineup of performers and plenty of Lumberjack spirit.

Women’s Volleyball vs. Cal State Dominguez Hills

Cheer on Cal Poly Humboldt Women’s Volleyball as the Lumberjacks take on the Cal State Dominguez Hills Toros.
Lumberjack Weekend Block Party
4 - 9 p.m.—Corner of Harpst and Rossow Streets - G11 and FS9 Parking lots
Durand Jones & The Indications will headline an evening filled with soulful melodies and modern grooves at the Lumberjack Weekend Block Party. After more than a decade of international touring, the band continues to evolve through a richly layered sound rooted in connection and homecoming.
East Los Angeles ensemble Thee Sinseers will bring lush harmonies and a full brass section to the stage. The Altons and HISPanic! at the Disco round out the evening’s musical lineup.
Food trucks and carnival games will add to the festivities throughout the evening. All attendees must register for Lumberjack Weekend to enter the Block Party. Guests who preregister will receive priority admission.

Forever Humboldt Coastal Dunes Hike

Join Forever Humboldt and Friends of the Dunes for a guided walk through the region’s coastal dune environments. The walk will begin in the Humboldt Coastal Nature Center parking lot.
